The DFP Classic is a 4-person step-aside scramble played for a cause. One round, one course, and one full day of golf, camaraderie, and giving back at Pompano Beach Golf Course, where 100% of proceeds go to a good cause.

The Format
How a step-aside scramble works.
All four players tee off on every hole from the blue tees, and the team picks the best shot. Here's the twist: whoever's ball you choose steps aside and sits out the next shot. The remaining three all play from that spot.
Again you pick the best of those three shots, and again that player steps aside — so through the fairway only three players ever hit. You keep this going until the ball reaches the green.
On the green, all four players may putt. If the ball rests on the fringe, only three may hit. In short: all four hit only off the tee and once on the green — everywhere in between, just three.

Pompano Beach Golf Course, The Pines.
We play the Pines, a Greg Norman-redesigned parkland layout with wide fairways, strategic bunkering, and South Florida palms framing every hole. It rewards smart course management and is a pleasure to walk or ride.
Pompano Beach Golf Course sits just minutes from the coast, with a full clubhouse, practice facilities, and easy access for players traveling in for the day.
